David Ross Obituary
May 9,1957 - Oct. 10, 2017
David Ross passed away unexpectedly at his home in San Pablo, Calif. of a heart related illness on October 10, 2017. He was born May 9, 1957 in Portland Oregon to Wilfred and Ruby Ross (both deceased) and is survived by his brother William Ross of Tigard, Oregon, sister-in-law Patricia and two nieces, Alicia Ross and Michelle Snider.David attended Reynolds High School where he graduated in 1975, Mt. Hood Community College and the University of Oregon. Over the years, David held many interesting jobs and for the last 10 years was an important part of the liver and kidney transplant team at the University of California San Francisco. As a sports fan and lifelong Oregon duck, he reveled in the successes of their football and basketball teams over the past few years.
Always willing to help out his friends, David will be greatly missed by his immediate family, his University of California family and all who knew and worked with him in the San Francisco Bay area.

I worked with Dave for years, in the same office, and will always recall his calm demeanor and sense of humor. He used to joke about the "liquid sunshine" when SF would enter the rainy season and how it was "beautiful out there". I miss his voice on the phone (he could've been a DJ). I am glad I got to know him as well as I did and send condolences to his family and friends.
