Nancy Muller Obituary
September 12, 1939 - August 30, 2014
Nancy Elizabeth Muller passed away peacefully at home on August 30th after a reoccurrence of lymphoma. She was born September 12, 1939 to Dr. Charles and Elizabeth Leach, in San Francisco, California where she later attended Star of the Sea and Lowell High School. In her youth she loved horses and was an accomplished rider. She enjoyed many of her childhood summers in Healdsburg and the family home continues to be a favorite place.Nancy attended UC Berkeley where she met the love of her life, Tim Muller. They raised their four children – Gretchen, Brian, Liz, and Charlie – in Marin where Nancy was an admired member of the community. She was a talented tennis and bridge player, an accomplished Master Gardener, loved bird watching and playing golf. She and Tim enjoyed many trips together and with friends and family whether it was biking in Europe, on a safari in Africa or backpacking in the Sierras.
Nancy was adored by all of those who knew her. Her greatest accomplishments were being a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. Nancy is survived by husband, her four children, daughter in-laws: Julie and Keira Muller, nine grandchildren, and three brothers: Rick, Charley, and Tim Leach.
She will be remembered fondly for her love of laughter, kindness, generous hospitality, and many talents. She will also be admired for the patience, stamina, and sense of humor required throughout her 53 year marriage to her husband Tim.
A memorial service will be held at 11 am on Friday, September 5th at the Marin Art and Garden Center in Ross, California.

Every time I drive down Sir Frances Drake.... past Laurel Grove, past Marin Art and Garden,up to the Meadow Club I always think of Nancy...... I remember her locker next to mine.... I knew where her key was hidden... on the golf course I see her bird houses and remember her love of walks and the outdoors. She was an extraordinary woman and friend. I hold her close to my heart....and am grateful for so many happy memories.

Nancy was a dear and wonderful friend and will always have a special place in our hearts. We shared tennis, bridge, gardening, travel and lots of laughter and many wonderful times together.
