Robert McCurdy Obituary
June 30, 1929 - January 30, 2018
Robert L. McCurdy passed away peacefully in San Francisco at the age of 88. Bob grew up in San Mateo and graduated from San Mateo High School, then attended Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo where he earned a civil engineering degree. He started working for the Southern Pacific Railroad, then Bechtel and retired from Aetna to enjoy his retirement years. He was a proud veteran who served in Korea.Bob was preceded in death by his wife Peggy. He is survived by his sister Ann, daughter Peggy and granddaughter Kate.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 3pm on Saturday, February 24th at Sneider & Sullivan & O'Connell's Funeral Home, 977 S. El Camino Real, San Mateo, CA. Inurnment will be at Sacramento Valley National Cemetery in Dixon, CA. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the SPCA or the Salvation Army.
