Adeline E. Fox

Adeline E. (Zurinskas) Fox, 84 years, of Brockton, passed away Aug. 16, 2011, at Life Care Center of West Bridgewater, surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late John L. Fox Sr. Born Sept. 26, 1926, in Brockton, she was the daughter of the late Peter and Mary (Begauski) Zurinskas. She was a 1944 graduate of Brockton High School, worked at Intercity Transportation Co. and most recently was employed for 20 years as a sales representative with New England Art. She was a member of the Stoughton Art Association and was an avid painter. She loved traveling in the U.S. and Europe, going to the beach, gardening, and most of all, spending time with her family. She is survived by one son, John L. Fox Jr. and wife Michele of Bedford, N.H.; four daughters, Kathleen Cristadoro and fiance Tony Berardi of Sagamore Beach, Joanne Shannis and husband Fran of Hooksett, N.H., Patricia McLaughlin and husband Jim of North Attleboro and Christine Biakanja and husband John of Santa Cruz, Calif.; and one nephew, Robert Zurinskas and wife Lena and their family. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, by whom she was affectionately called Mimi. She was the sister of the late Albert Zurinskas and Ann Potsus. Visiting hours will be held in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont St. (Rte. 123), Brockton, Saturday 3-6 p.m. Funeral procession will gather at the funeral home Monday at 10 a.m., followed by a funeral Mass in Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Brockton, at 11 a.m. Burial in Calvary Cemetery.
