Bonnie LOWRY Obituary

LOWRY, Bonnie J. (Holland) (Age 85) Was born in Plentywood, MT, on December 6, 1929, to Benjamin and Emma (Lee) Holland, and passed away January 30, 2015, in Spokane Valley, WA. The older of two daughters, the family moved to Spokane in 1942, where Bonnie attended Libby Junior High and Rogers High School. It was at Libby where Bonnie met her future husband, William J. Lowry. Bonnie and Bill were married in 1949 and had two sons, William B. And Robert L. Lowry. Bonnie worked in banking for many years, retiring from U.S. Bank at the age of 80. Her hobbies included cooking and making many beautiful stitchery handcrafts, as well as teaching classes in Norwegian and Brazilian embroidery. Bonnie was preceded in death by her husband, William, in 1985, and her son, Bill, in 1995. She is survived by her son, Robert; daughter-in-law, Karen; and grandson, Michael. A private family remembrance will be held at a later date. Deep appreciation is expressed by the family for the considerate care provided by Hospice of Spokane.

I also worked with Bonnie for many years at US Bank. She was a lovely person, always pleasant to be around. I send deepest sympathy to her family May she sleep with the angels.
