You told me what to do sometimes without hesitation; you guided me sometimes; you led....and you were so right.....I have aspects in my life that were chosen by you LOL! Since the service was held today in your honor, I feel a little better....I know now that it was because of your FAITH that your Heavenly Father took you home...turns out, that is the only place you could be pain free. she is one of the church secretaries at Grace Baptist Church. I read where you stated that Courtnay "is now in the hands of her savior Jesus Christ." You don't write that unless you know for sure that she is with the LORD...our family also knows the LORD as our savior and that it's only a matter of time when we shall see our loved ones again. I know that humanly that only helps a little right know but the LORD will soon prove his promises to you and give you peace and strength through this. Two of my three children have been nearly killed in bad accidents...we don't know initially why God puts us through trials and testings but His ways are higher than ours and somehow through through the loss of your wife, God has a plan to do great things. Mrs. Courtnay was my very first sunday school teacher at Pine Valley Baptist church, so she was one of the very first people to tell me about Jesus and I will always remember her for that. She had such an amazing faith and spirit that made people fall in love with her. I have comfort in knowing that she is pain free, and that we will all see her again one day.

Courtnay Foster Chase, A brilliant woman, A heart full of love for all she met. Courtnay, whom in my presence, NEVER forgot a name. This absolutely gorgeous woman had an astounding love for her husband, her children, and all her family was obvious, in her smile, her encouraging kind words she ALWAYS SPOKE, her love of life, this was especially felt from her hugs! Courtnay, you have been and will continue to be a women who touched so many lives in such a positive way. You prayed for people when they needed help, knowing that you were facing your own battle. Courtnay, you never gave up others, even through your own battle, you always saw the good in people, you would put your own problems to the side and focus and pray for others in need of help and encouragement. This shows how "GRACEFUL" of a woman you have always been. Even through your battle, you encouraged, supported, loved, prayed, shared, lifted, strengthened, gave hope, laughed (so much that is was contagious), but most of all, what you shared with others was the fact that you were true to yourself and an amazing true spirit of The Lord Jesus Christ! Courtnay, you touch my life in more ways than you will ever know! Dear Tim and your children, may God give you peace knowing that everything said about Courtnay above is absolutely true, and she talked about her amazing husband and family every chance she got to brag about you all! She was a true "Angel" on earth to us all!!! I/my family will be praying for you all!!!! Courtnay was honestly, one of the most AMAZING WOMEN I have ever met in my life, and my life has been truly blessed just by her being in it! Thank you Jesus for our blessed time with Courtnay!!! One of our fondest memories at the Hawks Nest has been knowing Courtnay and her family, of whom she was so proud.
