Steven March Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Steven March, who left us on January 25, 2025, at the age of 60. He was a beloved husband, loving father, cherished son, supportive brother, and loyal friend who touched the lives of all who knew him. Steve was born in Buffalo, New York in 1964 to his loving mother, Dorothy March, and late father, Ed March. He grew up alongside his brothers, Mike and Dave, forming lifelong bonds filled with laughter and shared memories. Steve is survived by his devoted wife, Erin, and their cherished daughter, Madison, who were the light of his life. His family meant everything to him, and he took great pride in being a loving husband and father. Steve's presence brought warmth and joy to those around him, and his legacy of love, kindness, and strength will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him. Steve will be deeply missed but never forgotten.

Wow, I am shocked and saddened by the news of Steve's passing. As an IGT colleague, I had the privilege of working with Steve on various Operations improvements over the years and being onsite in TX with him on occasion. I found him to be a stickler for incident followup and following through on resolutions, etc. Nothing was going to escape his attention. I wish I had gotten to know him on a more personal level, for example, seeing from the picture (IGT yammer posting) that he played guitar, I also play guitar at my church so that would have been a great topic of conversation and connection. He will certainly be missed by us his colleagues...my sincerest condolences to his family and close friends.
