Wow, I am shocked and saddened by the news of Steve's passing. As an IGT colleague, I had the privilege of working with Steve on various Operations improvements over the years and being onsite in TX with him on occasion. I found him to be a stickler for incident followup and following through on resolutions, etc. Nothing was going to escape his attention. I wish I had gotten to know him on a more personal level, for example, seeing from the picture (IGT yammer posting) that he played guitar, I also play guitar at my church so that would have been a great topic of conversation and connection. He will certainly be missed by us his colleagues...my sincerest condolences to his family and close friends.
