Laura Elizabeth Grigg

1932 - 2004

Laura Elizabeth Grigg, 72, St. Augustine, passed away April 28, 2004, at Flagler Hospital. She was born in Paynesville, W.Va. She was employed by Frantz Play School as a child care provider for several years. Her hobbies were first and foremost her grandchildren. She also enjoyed water aerobics and quilting.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Monday at Ponceannah Cemetery, Paisley. Visitation will be held 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Craig Funeral Home.

She is survived by her husband, David A. Grigg, St. Augustine; her mother, Goldia Baker, Paisley; three daughters, Lana Griffey, Paisley, Wanda Finigan, Deland, Vicki Raulerson, Orange Park; four sons, Marlion Thornsbury, Ronnie Thornsbury, both of Paisley, David Richard Grigg, Tallahassee, and Randy Grigg, Houston, Texas; five sisters, Libby Johns, Deland, Effie Jones, Springfield, Ohio, Amie Thornsbury, Jolo W.Va., Joyce Blackburn, Ocala, Juanita Griffey, Paisley; three brothers, Elbert Baker, Deland, Ermal Baker, Paisley, Roy Baker, Crescent City, nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father, Marion Baker, and brothers James H. Baker and Lennie Baker.
