Tina, I just learned about Richard's passing. I have been so busy traveling and have meant to stay in touch and I can't tell you how much he taught me and how much I enjoyed the time I spent with you and the Family years ago abord the "Tina Marie." I hope I expressed to him, the last time I met with him on Fisher Island in 2010, how much I appreciated his kindness, knowledge and willingness to teach others. I could go on and on about how many laughs we had together while traveling aboard the boat. Words can't describe what a great guy he actually was. My condolences are with you and the kids. Thank you Richard, for being such an amazing inspiration in my life. Captain Kevin St. Clair

We are so sorry to hear about Richard's passing. We have fond memories of celebrating kids birthdays with Sasha and our Jake during their pre-school years at Temple Beth Sholom. Our thoughts are with you.

I had the pleasure of meeting Richard just one time and that one time left a lasting memory and a story that i tell friends and family still to this day. Its very infrequent that you meet a man larger then life that enters a room and his presence is felt and respected. I remember his sense of humor and his quick wit along with his generosity and kindness. I work in a creative position developing products and Richard was a joy and inspiration to work with. My only regret is not having the opportunity to spend more time with the man. All my prayers and thoughts are with him and his family.
Sincerly

Tina,
As many others do, I considered Richard a great friend. I definitely enjoyed working with him at Aspen where he led many people with constant innovation and an attitude of lets get it done now and correctly. I think about him often and will miss him dearly. I have many fond memories and stories of trips and meetings with Richard. I enjoyed every one of them. I will keep you, the kids and your family in my prayers.
May God Bless you.
Sincerely,
Paul Stefanic

We loved RIchard. We really loved Richard. His wife Tina is a fabulous person. I was so inspired by the type of mother she is that I have always strived to be a mom like her. His three youngest children who I am most acquainted with are loving and sweet.
I have a son who has Autism and unlike any of my husband's other friends, Richard would call me every time there was some news show on Autism. He would also recite articles he read. He knew and appreciated how important the subject was to me. It is not often that a man, a father put such effort into this field. I will always love him for that.
When we first vacationed with the Kravers, we bought our nanny from Jamaica with us. When we stopped somewhere in the south for lunch the waitress practically threw our nanny's lunch plate in from of her. Richard reprimanded the waitress. He said, "O.K. pick up the plate and put it down properly. She is my guest and I won't have you treating her like that." He was a real mensch. I love the whole family and I wish I could take away the pain they must be feeling because this is indeed a big loss. He will stay forever in our hearts. We love you Richard! We will forever be in your family's care whenever they need us.

To Tina and the kids, I am so sorry for your loss. I did not know Richard personally, but I heard of him and your family through my sister and brother-in-law Elise and Ron. I heard of his kindness and wit, and how he engaged my little nephews. My oldest nephew really loved Richard. I am not sure Richard was able to meet my niece, she might have been too young. I am sure this is an extremely difficult time, but I hope that as you remember Richard his memory will shine a light upon your heart, and bring a smile to your face.

Richard was a truly remarkable fellow. I was most impressed by the way he treated my construction crews. They and I found him to be considerate and very generous, qualities that seem to be going out of style in this part of the world. He will be missed.
