Thoughts and prayers to Marcus´ family.
I met Marcus as a 17 year old incoming Freshman at Southern University. He was my first roommate and I followed him everywhere that first semester. I remember him taking me to Many for a weekend visit. His family and the people of Many were some of the nicest people I have ever met.
Even though Marcus and I lost contact with each other after graduation I often wondered what he was up to.
I´ll always remember his smile and his willingness to help someone.
Rest in peace roomie.

I meet Marcus years ago through my dear close friend Kimberly Wade Marcus's cousin. When I traveled with Kim to Many to visit Marcus on a couple of occasions he always was so kind and funny his hospitality towards me was very sweet. RIP Marcus you were a genuine soul.

He was wonderful young man. He always had a jolly smile on his face. I am glad that I had the opportunity to work with such a gentle giant.

I remember the last conversation I had with Marcus. Not that it is important, but he always seemed to be a compassionate man. I enjoyed working with him at Broadmoor High School. The way he died is truly heartbreaking. His passing a great loss to us all. RIP, friend.
