Mrs. Patsy was a very kind and loving friend. I loved just sitting with her over a cup of coffee and talking. You are missed.

Patsy was the most beautiful person, inside and out. She was a loyal friend. She shined wherever she was planted. I am so blessed she was in my life. I will miss her greatly.

I always enjoyed seeing Miss Patsy at. St. John’s and in the community. She was a lovely lady and I will cherish my memories of her. One of my favorite possessions is my copy of Dulac That Cajun Cat signed by her.
May she Rest In Peace and Rise in Glory.

I have wonderful memories of Patsy reading Dulac Dat Cajun Cat to the children at the branches of the Terrebonn Parish Library. We had lots of laughs and fun. She was a kind and generous person.

Patsy Powell was one of the nicest person I've ever met. So sorry to hear of her passing. I know, for sure, she is resting in the arms of our savior, Jesus Christ.

We met on our first day at MC being suite mates and formed a bond that has lasted 68 years. We had many long talks during our 4 years as roommates and have continued to share our joys and sorrows through all the changes of our lives. Most of all we shared our faith and the blessings that we had been given, especially our families. I will miss her!

I was so excited to meet Ms. Patsy! She was beautiful, outgoing, well spoken and so nice. I was absolutely honored when she visited my kindergarten class to read Dulac, Dat Cajun Cat. It's with a broken heart, I'm sending my deepest condolences to her sons and the rest of her family. May God wrap His everloving arms around her. May her soul rest in peace.
