Bette Thomson Obituary
She was the beloved wife of Herbert Thomson, who predeceased her in 2008. Bette and Herb met at Fitch High School and married in 1955. They enjoyed 53 years of marriage.
She was the beloved mother of her three surviving sons: Brian, of New London, David, of Columbus, Ga., and Robert, of Warrenton, Pa. She has six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
There are no calling hours. A Celebration of Life is planned this fall.

Sad news about a wonderful lady. Bette and Herb lived across the street from my childhood home. They raised three great sons and always met neighbors and friends with a smile. Bette and my mom were great buddies and they loved to laugh. Suzi and I always looked forward to seeing Bette and her boys on Christmas Eve service. I was so sad to learn of Aunt Bette's passing. She was a gracious and warm woman and I have so many fond memories of her growing up. She was a loving & caring sister to my dad Warren and good friend to my mom Emily. Deepest condolences to Brian, David, Rob and their families. She will be missed.
