John Satta Obituary

John E. Satta, Jr., age 76, of Etowah, TN, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, the day after Father's Day, Monday, June 20, 2022. John was born in Norwalk, CT and graduated from Brien McMahon High School, class of 1965. He worked and lived the majority of his life in the Asheville, NC area, where he operated several businesses, including CLR – Commercial Laundry Repair and Sales, and the Old Sky Rocket Gas Station in Arden, NC. Love of family, gardening and "fixing things" were his passions, along with cooking!
John was preceded in death by his parents, John and Edith Satta; sister, Carolyn Bard.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Mary Ann Carpenter Satta; sons, John Satta III of Delano and Patrick Satta of Nashville; 2 beautiful granddaughters, Carina and Kalli Satta and a wonderful daughter-in-law, Melissa Aldridge Satta; sister, Adele Gallo and brother, Vincent Satta, both of CT.
Family and friends will meet for visitation and a memorial service at Serenity of Etowah, in the chapel, on Saturday, July 9, 2022 from 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
