Oliver W. Baumgartner

OLIVER W. BAUMGARTNER, 90 At&T Technician LAKE ALFRED - Oliver W. Baumgartner, 90, passed away from heart failure January 31, 2007 at Winter Haven Hospital. Mr. Baumgartner was born on December 2, 1916 in Jamesburg, NJ and came here from Yardley, PA in 1986. He was a communications technician for At&T for 40+ years. He was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene of Winter Haven, and a prior member of the Trenton New Jersey First Church of the Nazarene for 40 years. He designed and ran the sound system for the Northeast Maryland Nazarene camp for 60+ years. He was preceded in death by his wife, Doris Baumgartner. Survivors include 3 sons: Gerald Baumgartner of Parker, CO; Richard Baumgartner of Whitman, MA; Paul Baumgartner of West Henrietta, NY; 1 daughter: Phyllis Schwartz of Richmond, VA; 5 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Mon. Feb. 5 from 6-8:00 PM at Ott-Laughlin at Glen Abbey. Funeral service will be held Tuesday 10:00 AM at Ott-Laughlin, Glen Abbey.
