My deepest and sincerest condolences to his family, may his soul rest in peace, I will remember my first Chief of Finance in East Timor.

I just learnt that Uncle Bob passed on in January 2016. To his beloved family, please accept my deepest condolences. He may have left us but I will always remember the Chief of Finance who was a good friend and mentor when I was with the UN mission in Bosnia in 1996. RIP dear Uncle Bob. I just heard of Bob's passing and I offer my sincere condolences. I attended the U. of Scranton and worked @ Pocono Manor in the Poconos with Bob for years, I'm so sad to hear of his passing. I lived in Dunmore, Pa. @ the time before relocating to Neptune, NJ in 1968.

Bob and I worked together in UN Peacekeeping both during the war in Yugoslavia and the peace in East Timor. Whenever I was in New York, during his time at UN Headquarters, Bob was one of the first people I looked up for a few beers in his local, Donoghue's.
As a colleague Bob was one of those people who was able to stand firm in difficult situations without losing the respect of those who may not have agreed with him. As a friend Bob was loyal and generous and a great person to spend time with.
I only recently got to know of his passing (a few months late) and I hope his dear wife and family will accept my heartfelt condolences, however late they may be. I will be raising a glass or two to Bob Quinn tonight in England. Cheers.
