I'll always remember working at MARMAP with Cecil. He even made early mornings on the boat seem like fun. His quick wit and easy laugh were truly contagious. My heart goes out to those of you that had the chance to know him better, and will now miss him. I know his laughter and joy will live on in anyone whose life he touched.

Even though I did not know Cecil on a personal level, I feel like a part of me knew him just as well as others. I work with Jen at the DNR and have become friends with her over the past few years. I know of her relationship with Cecil and how special he was to her. I know from her stories and just by seeing them together how great a person he was and how blessed she felt for having such a wonderful friend. I also know how special he was to so many here at work. A day would not go by without someone asking about his condition. He will be missed tremendously around here.
My thoughts and prayers are with all his friends and family. The world has been blessed with such a wonderful person. We all should feel so lucky.

Never was there a man more cherished by family and friends. Cecil was not only a son, a brother but also a class clown and the best buddy that ever was. We will all miss him tremendously. Love,
Jeannine
