Samuel Singleton Obituary

SINGLETON Samuel Eugene Singleton, 62, passed away on March 26, 2010. He was born in Columbus, Georgia and graduated from High School in Fairhope, Alabama. He was Protestant by faith and retired from the U.S. Navy after 22 years, where he was a Vietnam veteran. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather and caring friend to all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his mother and father and daughter, Tina Bryan. He is survived by his wife, Wanda; daughters, Jennifer Cooper and Lagaya Smith; 10 grandchildren, Chris Higgins, Anthony Woods, Crystal Singleton, BJ, Tiffany and Arianna Cooper, Jimmy, Kimberly, Britney and Tina Smith; sons-in-law, sisters-in- law, brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews and many wonderful friends. The family visitation to greet friends will be held on Wednesday, March 31, 2010 from 6-8 pm at the funeral home. Graveside services will be held Thursday, April 1, 2010 at 2:00 pm at Jacksonville National Cemetery, 4083 Lannie Rd. Jacksonville, FL 32218 (Off of Lem Turner Rd.) he is like a father to me he raise me from being small i use to work with him out at the fleamarket selling popits nifes bloguns. what ever he ask i did. every body that knew him wilol miss him i know i will all the good times that we had together.when i hear sam passed away i started to cry. soon as gail said that i ran an hid. love daniel
