Daniel Muszynski Obituary
Daniel "Dan" S.
Daniel "Dan" S. Muszynski, 88, of Erie, MI peacefully left this earth on Sunday, November 25, 2012. He was born to the late Stanley and Stella (Sniadack) Muszynski on April 17, 1924 in Toledo, OH.
Dan served proudly in the Army Air Force during WWII, retiring in 1984 as a Lt. Col. He worked as a Line Engineer for Ohio Bell. He was a member of Toledo Gem & Rock Hound Club, North West Ohio Genealogy and Genealogy Society of Michigan. He enjoyed rock hunting and stained glass lamps.
He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Shirley (Ashton); brothers, Edward (Betty), Richard and Stanley (Martha); sisters, Lucille Spitulski and Patricia Bubacz; sister-in-law, Gloria Strawser (Milton), and many loving nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by parents; sisters, Rosemary Thomas and Carol Malinowski, and brother, Thomas Muszynski.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 30, 2012, from 2-8 p.m. at David R. Jasin-Hoening Funeral Home, 5300 N. Summit St., Toledo, OH 43611. Funeral Services will begin on Saturday, December 1, 2012, at 10 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment will be in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park. Dear Uncle Dan, sometimes hard to believe that you and Aunt Shirley are in Heaven! I pray you know how very much loved you both were by everyone especially by us! I have many beautiful fun and loving memories of you and Aunt Shirley! One of my many is in the winter we all came out to ice skate on your pond and to come in and drink the best hot chocolate ever! I loved talking about all of your books in the family room and... best of all... great games of hangman! lol! Thank you for loving us all! I´m excited about making my journey to Heaven to spend eternity with you all! Be ready for our Hangman games! lol! I love you and miss you Uncle! Thank you God for blessing us with our awesome Uncle Dan!

Throughout my entire life my Uncle Dan was always a wonderful uncle. He always tried to motivate and encourage us. He was funny, intelligent, and always interesting to talk to. Many of his accomplishments I never knew about because he was too modest to brag about them. Someday if I make it to heaven I hope he is waiting there to greet me. I love you Uncle Dan
