Donald Marshall Obituary
June 5, 1963 - December 3, 2022
Dr. Donald Bruce Marshall II DO, age 60, loving father of two daughters passed away December 3, 2022 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Toledo. He was born June 5, 1962 to Dr. Donald Marshall DO and Sue (Saunders) in Toledo.
Donald was a graduate of St. John's Jesuit High School in the Class of 1980, St. Louis University in St. Louis, MO, and the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine. Donald was a respected and dedicated family physician at the Toledo Clinic, in Rockford IL, at Pointe Place with Mercy Health and finally at Parkview in Fort Wayne, IN.
Donald was an intelligent man and knowledgeable in what seemed like endless topics. He was a longtime Ham Radio Operator with the call sign KC9MJU, and he knew Morse Code. He was skilled in photography, speaking German, dad/uncle jokes, and he enjoyed snorkeling and scuba diving. Donald was a true 'Foodie' who enjoyed sharing a meal with family and trying new foods.
Donald is survived by his daughters, Kristine Marshall, and Anna (Scott) Reese; his parents, Donald and Sue Marshall; his brothers, Cory and Eric (Jennifer) Marshall; and his sister, Rebecca (Cristopher Denny) Marshall.
Burial services will be private but a Celebration of Donald's Life will be held Thursday, December 8th. In lieu of flowers, the family would welcome donations to the American Diabetes Association.
Arrangements are entrusted to the Peinert Dunn Funeral Home in Waterville, Ohio.

Don was a kind and caring soul. He was informed in so many subjects and provided invaluable advice to us in dealing with alzheimers. We will miss him and am grateful for our beautiful nieces left behind to carry on his legacy. See you on the other side Don. God speed
