James Robert Rowe

James R. Rowe, 81, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family Wednesday, October 12, 2022. James was born November 29, 1940 in Morehead, Kentucky. On March 31, 1972, he married Marcia Rupert and enjoyed 50 years of marriage until her passing, June 2, 2022. For eight years, he served in the National Guard and worked as a job setter with GM Powertrain for 41 years, retiring in 2003. James was an avid trap and skeet shooter, enjoyed listening to country music, and spending time with his dogs, Daizy and Dolly. His greatest love was spending time with his family; especially his grandchildren.

James is survived by his children, Jamie Rowe, Deanna "Sis" Myrice, Lori (Damon) Long, and Jim (Terry) Lineberry; daughter-in-law, Julie Lineberry; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; siblings, Gary, Michael, Donnie, Dennis, Charlotte, and Wilma; along with many nieces, nephews; and longtime neighbor and friend, Tip. He had a special bond with his granddaughter and "right arm" Robbie and her children, Brae, Bryn, and his little guy, Brax. Preceded in death by his mother, Goldie; father, Floyd; grandmother, Judie; sons, Danny Rowe, David Lineberry and Robert Lineberry.

The family will receive friends at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road Monday, October 17, 2022 from 2:00 p.m. â€" 8:00 p.m. Funeral services Tuesday, October 18, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Interment: Lake Township Cemetery.
