John Noethen Obituary
John V. Noethen, 79, of Northwood, OH, passed away on Friday, May 4, 2018 at Mercy Health-St. Charles Hospital. He was born on August 22, 1938 in Toledo to William and Adeline Noethen. John was a 1957 graduate of Macomber High School. He worked for many years at Eastside Sheet Metal and was a member of Local #33. John was co-owner of O'Briens Greenhouse with his wife, Ellen where they made many friends over the years. In his spare time, he enjoyed woodworking and spending time with his family. He will be dearly missed.
John is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Ellen Noethen; sons, Dennis Noethen and Brian Noethen; grandchildren, Rebecca (Coleman) Wright and Jennifer Noethen; great-granddaughter, Ellie Wright and his sister, June Jones. He was preceded in death by his parents and six siblings.
John will be buried at Lake Township Cemetery. Private services will be held for the family.

I was the neighborhood paperboy in John and Ellen's neighborhood in Northwood for about four years. I was friends with their Son, Dennis and I'll always remember Mr. Noethen as being very genuine and kind to me. My sincere condolences to the family.~ Randy
