William Charles II
William C. McNamee III, 68, of Oregon, Ohio, passed away Thursday, March 30, 2017, surrounded by his family. Bill was born in Toledo, Ohio on July 1, 1948, to William C. and Marilyn (Condon) McNamee Jr. He was a 1966 graduate of Central Catholic High School and furthered his education as a Journeyman Machinist. On June 12, 1970, he married the love of his life, Barbara Liptack. Mr. McNamee worked as a Journeyman Machinist with Electro-Cut, Industrial Machine & Die, and retired from Trenton Forging in 2015. Bill enjoyed golfing, cooking for family and friends, vacationing to Florida, fantasy sports, and cheering on the Michigan Wolverines. His true passion was spending time with his brother, Mike; children and grandchildren who brought him much joy.
Bill is survived by his wife of 46 years, Barb; children, Tracy (Mike) Dewitz, Matthew (Jenny) McNamee, Kelly (Mario) Alonzo, A.J. McNamee; grandchildren, Bryanna, Brittany, Hannah, Mario, Aryana, Alexa, Sean, Jaelyn, Avrie, and Gracyn; great-granddaughter, Chloe; brothers, Mike (Donna) McNamee and Steve (Pepper) McNamee; along with many nieces, nephews, loving family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.
The family will receive friends at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road on Thursday, April 6, 2017 from 2:00 p.m. until time of funeral service at 7:00 p.m. Expressions of sympathy may be directed to C.S. Mott Children's Hospital, 1540 East Hospital Drive, Ann Arbor, Michigan 48109.
