Thomas Gayland Weaver passed away in his home at the age of 68. He was born on April 30, 1945 in Ganado, TX to Jerry Thomas Weaver and Magdalene Mavis DeHay-Weaver. Tom is survived by his sister Geraldine Gregory of Katy, TX, brother, James L. Weaver and wife Nettie of Sargent, TX. He is also survived by God Son, Jeremy Crist and wife Krysta of Ganado, TX, nephews John G. Gregory and wife Kathy of Conroe, TX, Toby C. Weaver of Brazoria and Kevin L. Weaver of Corpus Christi and niece, Tammie Gregory-McClain and husband Todd of Katy, TX; as well as many other extended family members and lifelong friends that loved him dearly. Tom graduated from Ganado High School, Class of 1963 and retained many of his school friends throughout his life. Tom was a Sergeant in the United States Air Force and served in the Vietnam Conflict and was honorably discharged Sept. 28, 1971. He loved his dog, trips to the bay, his many friends and his car.
There will be a memorial service held at a later date.

Tom Weaver was one of these guys with a big heart. He would do anything to help anybody. I have known Tom for about 10 years, and consider him a friend. I am sorry to see his passing away.
