I only knew Señora for a short time, but I enjoyed every moment we spent together talking. After she left Curtis Junior High I missed the lunches we ate together with Señora Madrigal. She was one of the kindest teachers I never had and I always knew she would listen to my problems. We all miss you Señora!!!

I met Lori when she spent holidays at Keith and Mae Margeson's home. As the mother of three sons, I am so stunned and saddened her life was taken and she will not be able to raise her baby boy. My mother, my sons and I send our sympathy and love. Our hearts go out to her family and friends.

Lori thank you for all your help when I felt helpless. You are an inspiration to me and the whole spring class of 2004 Pierce College. You are greatly missed and will be forever in the hearts of everyone you ever touched and myself. I will miss the way you said "Antonio behave!" every time I would act out. I will also miss you said "I sure glad I teach college because your so much more mature than hihg schoolers" every time lyle and I would act like fools. If your son is a fraction of the person you were then the world will be a better place in the future. I feel honored to say "I was your student." I know that you are in a better place now, but I am selfish and wish you were still here. I love you like all your students loved you and like you loved us. I feel lucky to have ever met you. THANK YOU LORI and GOD BLESS YOUR FAMILY.

I feel privleged to have had such a caring and down-to-Earth person as my Spanish professor for the 103 course this quarter ar Pierce College. Mainly because I have learned more Spanish in this class than any other and we are still able have fun at the same time. She would even let us goof off alot in class, which was awesome. She is truely irreplacable and I will miss her...

I never had the opportunity to meet Lori, but since Mandi is a part of my family, that makes Lori family as well. Nothing will make the pain ever go away, but the love of family and friends help a great deal. I know this, because I've been there. I lost my child a year ago, but your family has lost a mother, a daughter and a sister all at once. If there is anything me or my family can do please do not hesitate to ask. We are all here for you. Bless you all

Lori was not only a teacher she was someone who touched lives and made a difference. I was only in her spanish class for one qtr and she has really touched me in ways I can't discribe. She was so dedicated, loving and understanding. There is and never will be anyone like her. I pray that the lord be with her family and know that it is hard and you will make it through this. God Bless you all and know that you will be in my prayers.

My thoughts and prayers are with you all. I was one of her Spanish students at Pierce College for the past 3 quarters. She definitely had a great impact on all of us and we are deeply saddened by this loss. She was a wonderful teacher and an even greater individual. I am honored to have had the blessing of being her student. Essays and all. God's blessings and comfort be with each and every one of you.

I am not only a student of Lori's, I consider myself her friend. She shared loving, personal, funny stories with our class and kept me smiling when I thought I would run from class screaming. She taught me to believe in myself. She gave me so much encouragement when I thought I couldn't go on. We shared our love of cats and children. I enjoyed sharing our middle school stories and laughing hysterically with her. You will be missed dearly, mi amiga!
