It saddens me to hear about Mr. Esher's passing. He was one of the nicest teachers at Woodside and was very passionate about teaching history. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends.

I worked with John at Woodside High School as his Lead Teacher for Social Studies. He was the most cooperative and dependable teacher in the Social Studies Department. He was always ready to do any thing I needed. I always felt comfortable sharing concerns with John. Thanks John

I met John several years ago when we came across each other walking our Siberian Huskies along Two Rivers Road, John's Niko and my Geena. John always had a big smile and a friendly "Hi Bill" whenever we met. We will miss you John, but the memories will be with us forever.

We have so many wonderful memories over the years that we have known John and Cyn. Going on vacation together, party boat rides on the Chickahominy, golf outings, birthday parties on the beach, Harpers Mill "Wine Arounds", Friday night gazebo parties, and most of all their generous friendship. We will miss John so much and will be there to support Cyn in whatever she needs. Maureen and Howie Hall (Williamsburg)
