Your mom was a strong woman. Even as a young kid, I marveled at all she accomplished having 9 kids plus your grandparents Under one roof! And I remember she loved the sunshine-she would say when we complained, " you kids need to get outside and get a dose of sunshine." And she raised independent children. She and my mom drove Ginny and I up to our dorm at UF freshman year. They proceeded to make our beds for us which had me and Ginny completely befuddled! "Lar -has your mom ever made your bed for you???" "No" I reply, "has yours??" In that silly moment we both giggled as we knew we were loved.
