OMG! I´ve known Alexis since she was in school in Madison, Wisconsin attending Edgewood, Catholic school, we we reconnected in DC when I was the coordinator and first Executive Director of the first DC Private Industry Council, Inc. with the Chairman, Kent Cushionberry, whom I met when I was a student at the University of WI- Madison. Alexis was an amazing woman, she was warm, friendly, kind & considerate in addition to being a consummate businessman person & Trail Blazers. I know that words cannot express how much her family and many friends will miss her. She was a blessing & gift to the world.

I am deeply saddened to hear of Alexis passing. As an intern in the Office of Public Liaison at the WHO, I had the privilege of witnessing her leadership and grace firsthand. She was stately, intelligent, and beautifully composed, yet always warm, approachable, and kind. Her poise and brilliance made a lasting impression on me, and I remain grateful for even our brief interactions, which were deeply meaningful.

I pray for her soul and for peace and comfort for her loved ones during this time. Her legacy and light will continue to inspire all of us who had the honor to learn from her.

Life Well Lived
A life well lived is a precious gift,
of hope and strength and grace,
from someone who has made our world
a brighter, better place.
It´s filled with moments,
sweet and sad with smiles and sometimes tears,
with friendships formed and good times shared,
and laughter through the years.
A life well lived is a legacy,
of joy and pride and pleasure,
a living, lasting memory
our grateful heart´s will treasure.
