Sylvia Alice Kinsolving

Sylvia Alice Kinsolving was born September 30, 1931 in Berkeley, CA and died June 27, 2025 in Reston, VA. She attended University of California at Berkeley and graduated w bachelor's degree in Childhood education and won the Senior Sweetheart honors during her Senior year at Cal Berkeley. She married Charles Lester Kinsolving an Episcopalian pastor, religious columnist and radio talk show host in Baltimore, MD until he died in 2018. Sylvia a semi professional soprano sang for various local choruses throughout her life and also taught piano for children and adults. She is survived by her three children Laura Kinsolving Abate, Thomas Kinsolving and Kathleen Kinsolving and her three grandchildren Katrina Kinsolving, Julianna Kinsolving and Spencer Willmann. Sylvia's memorial service will be held on July 10, 2025 at the Church of the Holy Comforter on Maple Ave in Vienna, VA.
