Leandre L. "Lee" Parent

Lincoln –Leandre L. ""Lee"" Parent, 55, died Sunday May 20, 2018, surrounded by his three loving sons, at Rhode Island Hospital in Providence. Born in Woonsocket he was a son of Cora L. (Desrosiers) Parent and the late Maurice A. Parent. He was a resident of Lincoln for most of his life and a graduate of Lincoln High School.
Lee was employed at Motorola, Codex and Petroleum Engineering.
Lee would agree that he was a true gearhead in the best sense of the word; he was a dirt bike enthusiast and was crazy about muscle cars. Most of all he loved to be around his family especially his grandchildren.
Lee will be remembered as a friendly and outgoing man who lived life by the beat of his own drum.
In addition to his mother he is survived by his three sons Jason R. Parent (Gina) of Smithfield, Justin M. Parent (Amanda Barriere) of Burrillville and Jaron L. Parent (Carmen Medeiros) of Cumberland. He was the grandfather of Eleanor, Violet and Jayden. He was the brother of Donald Parent of Gloucester, Andre Parent of Germany, Carol Berube of Holden, MA and Diane Parent of Lincoln. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and their families. Lee was the companion of Beth Nadeau of Pawtucket.
His funeral will be Saturday May 26th at 9:00 am from the Menard-Lacouture Funeral Home, 127 Carrington Ave. Woonsocket followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in St. James Church, Division St. Manville. Burial will follow in St. James Cemetery, Manville. Visiting hours are Friday from 4-8 pm.
