Muriel Benoit Obituary
She was the wife of the late Alfred Benoit and the late Arsene J. LaRose. She was born in Manchung, MA daughter of the late Leander & Eva (Cabana) St. Jean.
Muriel worked for the former Cotton Mill and the former Miller Electric Co. She was a life long resident of Blackstone. She was a member of the Senior Citizen's Center of Blackstone and the Early Village Community Center.
She is survived by her children, Dennis LaRose of Blackstone, MA, David LaRose of Milo, ME and Elaine Wethey of Blackstone, MA, 11 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her stepchildren, Alfred Benoit Jr. of Belchertown, MA, Arthur Benoit of Harrisville, Robert Benoit of Harrisville, RI and Rosemarie Zarr of Millville, MA.
She was preceded in death by her sons, Robert and Richard LaRose.
Her funeral will be held Friday at 10am from the Egidio DiPardo & Sons Funeral Home, 75 Harris Ave., Woonsocket, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11am in St. Paul's Church, St. Paul St. Blackstone. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery. Calling hours will be held Thursday from 4-7pm. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Blackstone Council on Aging, 15 St. Paul St. Blackstone, MA 01504.

Sincere Condolences to the family and friends of Muriel. She was one of the sweetest souls to ever greet me with a smile, which she did most every time our paths crossed. The kind of lady you come away feeling blessed to have known. Her strong faith will see her through this loss, and may it do the same for you.

My deepest sincere condolences. Muriel was a dear friend with a wonderful personality, beautiful smile and kind person to everyone. Enjoyed listening to her stories of the past and present. She loved her cat, Peanut, so much. I will miss her dearly and will have many fond memories of her. Rest in peace, my dear friend.
