Eight years have gone by. I think of you and miss you every day. I'm comforted by the the thought that we were best friends. I spent every weekend with you after mom passed and wouldn't have wanted to be anywhere else. I feel your presence in our home and know that you are not far and looking out for me. I love you dad and I know we will see each other again. Love, Nancy xo

Before moving to Los Angeles and starting my UCLA career, I taught at Halliwell School and enjoyed having Paul as my mentor. He encouraged me to continue my education and I obtained my doctorate at UCLA and remained there for the past 49 years. Paul was a man of integrity and values and was truly a good leader who was able to engage his staff and influenced many of us to remain in the field of education. It was an honor to know this man.
