Therese Lapierre Obituary
Originally from Woonsocket, Therese lived most of her life in Burrillville. She worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant at the St. Antoine Residence for 10 years retiring in 1992. Prior to that she worked for many years with American Tourist and CD Burns Company.
She was a member of the Woonsocket YMCA Fitness Club, American Legion Post 88, Nasonville, Women's Auxiliary, Royal Travelers, St. Theresa's Ladies Guild, Red Hat Society and Project Linus. She also enjoyed knitting and crocheting.
She is survived by her children; Robert & Marcel Lapierre, Annette Armstrong, Muriel Cole, Judith England and Deborah Pimentel. Also 15 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandson.
She also leaves behind her siblings, Robert, Emile and Albert Lewberg.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Jeannette Westergren and her siblings, Ronald, Henry and Ernest Lewberg, Muriel Giguere and Cecile Farley.
Arrangements are entrusted to the Keene - Brown Funeral Home, 445 Greenville Rd., North Smithfield.
Calling Hours will be held Sunday, October 29, 2023, from 4:00 PM 7:00 PM. Funeral Services will take place on October 30, 2023, at 8:30 AM from the Keene - Brown Funeral Home with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM at St. Theresa's Church, 35 Dion Drive., Nasonville. Burial will follow in the Parish Cemetery in Nasonville. In Lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Therese can be made to St. Antoine Activity Fund. www.stantoine.net
