Curtis Lee Brown, Sr.

Mike became like a brother to me, beginning the first day of high school as a Yuma High Criminal. Graduating together in 1974, we continued sharing life's experiences until a faithful moment within Mike's life, which I advised him to go face his issue head-on. Mike took my advice and with the assistance of his beloved father, Bill (William) flew back to Malaysia. After speaking with him as they were about to board the trans-Pacific flight from LAX spoke via telephone, "I will talk to you when I get back." It is through reading of his legacy it gives me great honor to have experienced such a great individual, and will say, you are missed, yet you inspired me to walk in your footsteps as I continue my education, hoping to benefit all people along the way. Thank you, Mike, for being my best friend. God bless you. Curtis Brown, friend forever!
