I was Paul´s roommate and teammate at Syracuse in our freshman year. I just found out about his passing and thus the late response. I offer my sincere condolences to his family and friends and was deeply saddened when I heard about him and his wife. I watched the video of his life and it was spot on in its content and just as I remember him. I got to meet his mom and dad at a game we played in at West Point, after which I joined them in a trip to Agawam and got to see his hometown and got to know his parents and enjoy some good home cooking. As happens in life, as time marched on, we lost contact as I was injured and was forced to stop playing football. He did make it to be in my wedding back in 1968, for which I will always be greatful. I could go on and on with memories but will suffice it to say he and I hit it off right from the get go and I have never met a nicer guy. I will always remember his giant frame and even larger kind and gentle nature. My best to all of you and I am sorry I was unaware of his passing until now. I will always remember him as a good friend who will be missed.
