Roger Spain Obituary

Roger worked as a construction supervisor before his retirement, which gave him more time to enjoy his favorite hobbies including RC car racing, fishing, hunting, car shows, shooting pool, and most importantly, motorcycles. Roger never met a stranger, just a friend he hadn't met yet. He was happiest outside playing with the kids, rather than inside with the adults. His warm sense of humor and playful spirit lightened the mood wherever he went.
Left to cherish his memory is his beloved wife, Linda Spain; children, Teresa, Jill, Dail, and Lisa; siblings, Calvin, Bud, Billy, Virginia, Rose, and Judy; grandchildren, Curtis, Lynyrd, Kevin, Maddie, Gregory, and Brandon; many great grandchildren; in-laws Reuben and Brenda and their children: Wendy and spouse Raymond (Kaylie, Leah, Katherine, Erica); and Ricky and spouse Amber (Trey, Kaylee, Aubrey)and long-time friend Big O (Ray).
A graveside service will be held at Chesapeake Memorial Gardens on Thursday, July 17, 2025 at 11am. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Association. Condolences can be made to the family at www.hollomon-brown.com.

Roger Dail was married to my cousin Linda. They shared over fifty happy years together. The Roger l came to know was a kind soul, always smiling and joking around. You could tell his world revolved around Linda. He loved anything to do with fast cars and motorcycles! I remember shooting pool with him many years ago and looking back I´m pretty sure he let me win. He was that kind of guy! Our thoughts and prayers go out to Linda and all who loved Roger and were fortunate enough to have known him! Love, Bobby Jr., Jeliana and Familee
