I'm so sorry to hear about Bill's passing. I wish I could have seen him one more time, but that wasn't to be. We were great buddies at Miller School, played football together at Miller School and overseas in the AF. We last played together at Bolling AFB, DC. Jimmy, I wish I could have been there for the funeral, but I've been in the hospital and didn't learn about his passing until yesterday. He was a special person to me. "Nick" Davis (Sumter, SC)

Jim and Ida,
We were very sorry to learn of Bill's passing; however, we know that he is with the Lord and that there is no more pain. May God bring peace and comfort to all of you in the coming days. We know that the memory of this good man will bring smiles to many for years to come.

Jim,
I'm so sorry I couldn't attend the family night or the funeral for Bill, but I"m sure he was honored in the service. He was a special person.. I know you will miss him, but we know the Lord will give you and your family peace. We know Bill is at peace and you will see him again one day. Praise be the LORD!!

Mark and Connie,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you as you begin your journey in accepting the loss of your parents. We loved Bill and Bev and have many great memories of the times we were able to share with each of them. Bill had an amazing voice and Bev was so thoughtful and sweet.

I am saddened to learn of Bill's passing. We were both on the 1959 UVa Cavayearling football team. I was hoping that he would be at one of the football reunions/games. We'll have a special rememberence of him at this year's gathering. RIP Bill.

Jimmy, I just want to let you know I will miss Billy, he was such a great friend and I will never forget him...
I can see him now sitting in the corner of the bar at "Charley", with all of his pals. That was what he called them,"My Pals"
My prayers go out to the hold family...

Mom Roberts,Jimmy & Ida, I have met Uncle Bill several times and without a doubt he was a very sweet man. His smile just was the brightest and just lit up a room. Just know that there is another beautiful angel in Heaven and his wife and relatives along with friends and strangers are all gathered together in welcoming this new angel to their family and one day we all will be there for the biggest Family reunion of all! Please accept our deepest sympathies of your love and loss. May God be with you this day and everyday. God Bless

Dear Jimmy and Ida. It goes without question how saddened I was at Bill's passing. I know how much you loved him and how loyal you have been through these many months of his illness. Please accept my sincerest condolences.
Billy, I'm going to miss you pal but you've left me with many good memories.Ican see you as I write this, lookig over Jack Black and Ginger with that big toothy grin. I'm happy that your suffering is over and God has taken you to a better place. You know all your buddies loved you and I'll never forget you.
