Barbara A. Jordan, born on December 1, 1936, in Indiana, passed away peacefully at her home under the tender loving care of Treasure Coast Hospice, on Monday, October 20, 2025. A devoted mother, sister, grandmother, and friend, Barbara was cherished by all who knew her.
Throughout her life, Barbara embraced her role as a nurse, showcasing her deep commitment to caring for others. Her compassionate nature reflected in the way she treated everyone she encountered; she truly loved everyone for who they were. This remarkable personality endeared her to many, creating lasting bonds with friends and family alike.
Barbara was a proud matriarch, surrounded by the warmth of her loving family. She is survived by her three sons, four sisters, one brother, seven grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. Each of them carries forward the legacy of kindness and love that she imparted throughout her life.
The community is invited to pay their respects at a visitation to be held on Saturday, November 1, 2025, from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM with the Service starting at 3:00 pm with Pastor Jeff Bennett officiating at Martin Funeral Home & Crematory, Stuart Chapel, located at 961 S Kanner Hwy, Stuart, FL 34994.
Barbara's Burial will be held on Sunday, November 2, 2025 with a graveside service at 1:00 pm at Lakeland Memorial Gardens, 2125 Bartow Road, Lakeland, FL where she will be laid to rest beside her loving husband.
Barbara A. Jordan’s unwavering spirit and affection for others will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by her family and friends, who find comfort in the memories shared and the love she imparted during her time among us.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in loving memory of Barbara would be greatly appreciated Treasure Coast Hospice, 1201 S. Indian Street, Stuart, FL 34994.
