Barbra Jo Phillips, 70, of Elkhart Lake, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, July 31, 2023 at St. Agnes Hospital in Fond Du lac, with her loving daughter by her side. She was born on July 11, 1953 in Sheboygan to the late Richard and Phyllis (Sabourin) Phillips.
On April 5, 1976 she met the love of her life Larry M. Herman, they were later married. Larry preceded her in death on July 11, 2015.
Barbra worked for Vowinkel Law firm and Andrews Law firm.
Barbra enjoyed the outdoors, she loved to go camping, swimming, feeding the birds in her yard, and spend time with her families doing several other activities while creating lasting memories with them. She also was an avid Packer fan and could be found cheering for them on Sunday afternoons. Taking trips to the casinos was a favorite past time of hers.
Barbra is survived by her daughter Traci Augustine, grandsons Travis (Nicole) Augustine and Caleb Augustine, great-grandsons Thomas and Dylan Augustine, sister Sharon Chavez, step-mother Ofelia Soto, mother-in-law Carol Herman, sisters-in-law Linda (Mike) Senkbeil and Gloria (Rich) Endres, brothers-in-law Daniel (Kathy) Herman and Tim (Chris) Herman, special nephew Todd, and other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 8, 2023 at 1:00 PM at Ballhorn Chapels Funeral & Cremation Care Center, 1201 N. 8th St, Sheboygan, with Rev. Bryan Osladil officiating. Burial will follow at Lutheran Cemetery. Relatives and friends may visit with the family on Tuesday, August 8, 2023 from 11:30 AM until the time of service at the FUNERAL HOME.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Salvation Army in Barbra’s name.
