Bruce Franklin Arnett was born on July 30,1941, in Paragould, Arkansas to Benny Franklin and Sarah Elizabeth (Blair) Arnett. His family later relocated to Memphis, Tennessee where he graduated from Frayser High School in 1959. He married Connie Cobb Arnett in 1975 and was with her for 47 years until her death in 2022. Bruce was employed by Boeing Air. Upon retirement, he and Connie moved from St. Charles, Missouri to Bowling Green, Kentucky to be closer to family. They were faithful members of St. James United Methodist Church, and devoted volunteers for CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates). Bruce will be remembered for his jovial sense of humor, generous spirit, and willingness to help anyone in need.
Bruce has one brother, Charlie Elton Arnett and is preceded in death by his parents, wife, and sisters, Edwina Joyce Pannell and Bennetta Gail St. Claire. He loved his many nieces and nephews- Carl Arnett, Benny Holland, Beth Holland, Bobbie Tallent, John Kinard, Jr., Kirk Kinard, Mary Kate Thompson, Lauren Lunn-Bice, and Austin Lunn.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers donations be made to Hospice. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Bruce was dearly loved and will be deeply missed.
