Gerald BARTGIS

BARTGIS, Gerald Lee, 81, of King William, Virginia, died August 19, 2011, at Memorial Regional Medical Center of natural causes. Gerald, known to his friends as Jerry, was born in Hiton, West Virginia to the late Howard J. and Pearl R. Bartgis. Gerald is survived by his wife of 45 years Janet L. Morrison Bartgis; stepchildren, Robert Morrison, Gary Morrison and his wife, Virginia, Jackie Padgett and her husband, Donald and Jerry Morrison; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; sisters, Jean Ray and her husband, Guy, Donna Bartgis, Linda Walkup; brother, Kay Bartgis and his wife, Susan; and numerous nieces and nephews. Gerald was predeceased by stepson, Terry Morrison; sisters, Margaret Bartgis, Martha Bartgis; and brother, Howard Bartgis. At his request no service will be held.
