Nancy Miffleton

MIFFLETON, Nancy Beck, 77, of Richmond, passed away Wednesday, December 9, 2009. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Clara Beck; her husband, C. Robert Miffleton Sr.; her son, Joseph Earl Miffleton; her sisters, Martha Beck Curtis and Jane Beck Pully; and her brothers, Lyman Louis Beck Sr. and Charles Carroll Beck Sr. She is survived by her son, Charles R. Miffleton Jr. and his wife, Terry; four grandsons, Brian (Diane), Matt (M'lisa), Sam and Jake Miffleton; three great-grandchildren, Chase, Parker and Madeline Mae; her brother, John M. Beck Sr. and his wife, Jerry; devoted niece, Martha Curtis Glave, her husband, Jim, and their children, Meagan, Brandon and Hunter; a number of other nieces and nephews; and a wonderful friend, Sybil Voth. Mrs. Miffleton retired from the C&P Telephone Company. She was a member of Trinity Christian Church. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, December 12, at the Central Chapel of Bennett Funeral Home, 3215 Cutshaw Avenue. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial in Hollywood Cemetery will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Shriners Hospitals for Children, P.O. Box 9217, Richmond, Va. 23227, or a charity of your choice.
