Russell,Charlene, Willie & Debra, I know how much each of you loved Dale. I want say that I know how you feel, for only God knows that. We didn't see a lot of Dale, but I remember that he was always smiling when we saw him. I know that he was always a blessing to each of you and you will miss him so much. As you say God will see you through it all for he said he will never leave us or forsake us. Each of you have a very special place in my heart and I wish that I could take your pain away, but only God can help with that. Just know that I love each of you and you know where I am if you need me. Love and God bless..

TO Dale's Family:
As I was reading down the comments for Dale, one of the comments from Beth brought a smile to my face and that was one of the first memories I have of Dale and that was being in the ROBIN HOOD Production.
I knew Dale from Middle School on through High School and I would run into him from time to time while I lived in Richmond.
He had an infectious laugh and a great sense of self...A Very Brave Man..
May God Bless Chuck and the rest of the Family during this time.

Charlene, Russell, Willie, and Debra,
I am so sorry to hear that Dale has passed away. I never knew him as a man, only as the little ringbearer in my wedding all those years ago. From all the posts I read he was certainly well loved, and obviously put people first before himself.
I know you are going to miss him desperately and after losing Daddy I know there is nothing any one can say that hasn't been said a million times. It just plain hurts and there is no way around that. Only God can really comfort you and hold you in his arms to rest for awhile, but as long as we are on this earth I think we will always miss our loved ones. Even all the happy memories make me cry just because I miss him so much, but I don't want to stop thinking about him. I think the worst thing would be to try and keep quiet. He came, he lived, and he made a huge impact obviously on many people. That is something to treasure and be proud of, and yes, that'll make you cry too. Just go ahead and cry. I believe when you get so full they just have to come out. May God bless you all and keep you tightly, for now in his safe arms. Susan Midkiff

To Dale's family -
I just heard tonight that Dale had passed away. I am so sorry it had been more than a year since I had talked to him. I had moved to SC. I worked with Dale years ago in two different Kohl's and was extremely fond of him. He could run circles around us all. I know he will be missed by all who knew him. My prayers go out to all his family and friends.

I was so sorry to hear about Dale. Kristi always considered Dale to be a good friend when we lived on Jefferson Road and they went to school and graduated together from GW. I remember him as always smiling, and so polite. May God Wrap you in His Arms of Love and Give you Peace. Remember all your good memories of Dale, and God will help you through this hard time in your lives.

I had the pleasure of working with Dale 10-12 years ago at Southpark Mall. He was our cosmetics manager at Hechts. He walked around with a smile on his face and a positive outlook. He was understanding and sympathetic to all of us ladies that drove him crazy with scheduling and family conflicts. I would see him off and on through the years and he would flash that great smile and say hello. God Bless him and your family.

Dale was a true motivator in my years here in Virginia. I was able to work for him at Hecht's and Kohls. What a wonderful soul he is...I will miss him deeply.
