Obituary of Amanda Hughes Wagner
Mrs. Amanda Hughes Wagner, 80, went to be with her Lord and Savior June 26, 2023. A celebration of her life will be held in the Chapel of Heritage Memorial Funeral Home, Friday, June 30, 2023 at 11:00 AM. A private burial will follow at Magnolia Park Cemetery. A visitation will be held at Heritage Memorial Funeral Home, Friday June 30, 2023 between 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM.
Amanda was born in Gainesville, GA to the late Lavada Peavy Hughes and C.D. Hughes. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Linda (Clark) Willingham.
Amanda was a devoted Christian woman and longtime member of Trinity United Methodist Church. Free spirited and with a delightfully mischievous sense of humor, she was counted on for her fierce love of family. Amanda adored books, almost as much as gardening, and never strayed far from one or both. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and dear friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Amanda is survived by her beloved husband, James "Jim" Wagner; children; Allen H. (Denise) Wagner, James "Mike" (Debra) Wagner, and Elizbeth "Beth" (Victor) Rozeboom; grandchildren; Jamey, Katey, Alex, and Mia; three great grandchildren; sister, Pat (Charles) Brigham, and a host of extended friends and family.
Please sign the online guest registry at http://www.heritagemfh.com and leave a personal condolence for the family.
