Charles Arthur Carothers

Charles Arthur Carothers, 72, passed away on Thursday, May 4, 2023, at his home in Elizabethtown, Kentucky. He was born on July 24, 1950, to the late George and Mazetta Carothers in Louisville, Kentucky. Charles was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. Charles was also a proud Veteran of the United States Army. He enjoyed the simpler things in life. Charles loved just spending quality time with Lisa, going out to eat, or taking long motorcycle rides together. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
In addition to his parents, George Carothers and Mazetta Bell Carothers, Charles is preceded in death by his loving wife, Lisa Carothers.
Left to cherish his memory, Charles leaves behind 2 sons, Jeremy Carothers, and Travis Carothers; 2 grandsons, Derrik Carothers, and Andrew Carothers; 1 granddaughter, Rylee Carothers; 1 brother, George "Skip" Carothers Jr.; and a host of extended family and close friends.
A visitation for Mr. Charles A. Carothers will be held from 11 AM to 8 PM on Thursday, May 11, 2023, at Legacy Funeral Center – Nunnelley Chapel, 4327 Taylor Blvd., Louisville, Kentucky. Burial at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central will take place at a later date.
