Dennis Powell

Dennis Powell, 66, of Lakeville, IN, passed away October 26, 2022. Born May 26, 1956, he was the son of the late William and Doris (Conard) Powell. Dennis was also preceded in death by one sister, Victoria.On March 11, 1984, Dennis married the love of his life, Barbara Bass. She survives him. Dennis is also survived by a son Jason Powell; 2 daughters, Cristina Santi of Louisiana and Tiffany Davis of Portage; and 2 grandsons, Mateo (4) and Tobias (3). Dennis was a truck driver for 40 years. He was into racing and helped in building them. He loved to fish and had been a ham radio operator. He was a huge Notre Dame and Cubs fan. He was a great father who would stop by the ball field just to see his son play ball, then take back off on the road again. He also enjoyed camping with family and friends. He is going to be greatly missed.A memorial service will be held for Dennis at 12:00 p.m. (CST)/ 1:00 (EST) on November 12 at Life Community Church, 780 Mc Cool Rd. South Haven, Indiana. Following the service, there will be a dinner for everyone provided by his loving Church Family.
