With heavy hearts, we mourn the passing of Eric Jay Ostrom, who peacefully departed the world on the evening May 26, 2024, in Albuquerque, NM. Eric's legacy is one of unwavering generosity, kindness, and a profound passion for music that touched the lives of all who knew him. His presence exuded a zest for life that inspired those around him, and his for his family and was boundless.
Eric leaves behind a cherished family to carry on his memory. He is survived by his daughter, Camisha, and her husband Alan Cordova, along with his granddaughters Andrelee and Zia, as well as his great-grandson Dillon. He is also survived by his son Brian, daughter-in-law Crescent, and beloved granddaughter Hanna. In addition, Eric leaves behind his sisters Janice and Peggy, and brother Jack.
The imprint of Eric's spirit will forever resonate in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him. His absence will be deeply felt, yet the memories of his love and warmth will continue to bring comfort in this time of sorrow.
A funeral service to honor and celebrate Eric's remarkable life will be held at the National Cemetery in Santa Fe on August 2, 2024. Through this gathering, we will come together to pay tribute to a man whose impact was immeasurable and whose memory will endure for generations to come.
