Geoff Dykes Obituary
He was the son of the late Geoffrey L. Dykes and Bernice M. (Cronin) Dykes. He grew up in Jamaica Plain and has lived in East Bridgewater for over 60 years. He worked as a truck driver for many years and retired as a Teamster. In his spare time, Geoff enjoyed playing cards, shooting skeet, watching Nascar, drag racing, camping with various groups in his motor-home and trying his luck on scratch tickets. He was caring and friendly and had a special place in his heart for animals, especially his dog Bodey.
Geoff is survived by Donna (Pratt) Dykes of East Bridgewater. Devoted father of Kevin F. Dykes of East Bridgewater. Cherished Grampa of Nathaniel Dykes of Bridgewater. Loving brother of Anne Nancy (Dykes) Dow of Lynn and Laurence Dykes of Hancock, Maine. Dear friend of Al Rascicot of Taunton. Also survived by nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the graveside service on Tuesday, May 2nd at 11:30 AM in Central Cemetery, East Bridgewater.
