Gerald W. "Jerry" Johnson

Gerald W. "Jerry" Johnson, 85, of Marysville, formerly of Milford Center, passed away Monday evening, October 30, 2023, at Walnut Crossing in Marysville following a brief illness.
Jerry was born May 16, 1938, to the late C. Raymond and Helen L. (Weatherman) Johnson. After high school graduation, he worked for Ray Lewis & Sons Machinery in many different roles, and retired after 49 and a half years of employment. He married the former Grace B. Baldridge on January 24, 1958, at the Milford Center United Methodist Church. She preceded him in death on April 12, 2006, after 48 years of marriage. Along with Grace, he was also preceded in death by a sister and her husband, Patricia (Duane) Fuller; and his in-laws Drue and Evelyn Baldridge.
He is survived by his sons Terry (Robbie) Johnson of Urbana and Timothy (Karin) Johnson of Havelock, North Carolina; brother Neil (Libbie) Johnson of Columbus; brother-in-law Kenneth (Cindy) Baldridge of Springfield; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be on Saturday, November 4, 2023, from 10 am-12 noon at Ingram Funeral Home, 975 N. Maple St., Marysville. Graveside services will follow at 1 pm at the Milford Center Cemetery with Rev. Pam Connolly officiating.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Milford Center United Methodist Church, where Jerry and Grace were longtime members. Contribution cards will be available at the funeral home.
