Inez Ramsier Obituary

She was born April 15, 1931 in Sardis, Ohio to the late John and Irma (Imhoff) Klotzle and lived most of her life in the Sterling and Marshallville area.
Inez graduated from Sterling High School and married Robert L. Ramsier on April 5, 1952; he preceded her in death in 2015.
She was employed as a Secretary at the Apostolic Christian Home for 21 years, retiring in 1997. Following retirement, she volunteered at Hospice and provided respite care for many people. She was also known for baking her wonderful pies for the Apostolic Christian Home.
Inez was a faithful member of the Apostolic Christian Church and loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren who affectionately called her "Grandma Sier".
Surviving are sons, Mark (Alice) Ramsier of Sardis and Tim (Joni) Ramsier of Sterling; daughters, Sandra (Paul) Manz of Paulding, Connie (Dave) Maletich of Marshallville, Ronda Ramsier (Jack McGroder) of Durango, Colorado and Sharon (Russ) Floyd of Longmont, Colorado; 19 grandchildren; 47 great grandchildren with one on the way; a great grandchild was born the day Inez passed away; sister-in-law, Jane Klotzle; and brother-in-law, Walter Marquart.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert; great grandchild, Carson Manz; brothers, Irwin and Harold Klotzle; and sisters, Eileen Emch and Betty Marquart.
Services will be held Saturday, October 7, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. at the Smithville Apostolic Christian Church, 8530 Fulton Rd., Sterling with ministers of the church officiating. Burial will follow at the Apostolic Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, October 6, 2023 at Auble-Gillman Funeral Home, 360 W. Sunset Dr., Rittman and from 9:30 to 10:15 a.m. on Saturday at the church.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Apostolic Christian Home, 10680 Steiner Rd., Rittman, OH 44270
