Jeffrey Grant Edwards

Jeffrey G. Edwards, 65, passed away on Friday, April 7, 2023, at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center, in Hutchinson, KS. Jeff was born September 18, 1957 in Hutchinson, KS, the son of James and Maxine (Bass) Edwards.
Jeff graduated from Buhler High School and joined the United States Navy, earning a master's machinist certificate. He served on the USS Forrestal, a supercarrier, and was stationed at Norfolk, VA. Jeff was an enthusiastic NASCAR and local dirt track car racing fan. He still owned and drove his own dirt track racing car. He enjoyed and loved motorcycles from smooth riding Harley Davidsons to dirt track racing bikes. Jeff was known to his friends and family as being a jokester and having a wild sense of humor.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Marquetta Copeland and a brother James Edwards II.
Jeff is survived by his sisters, Carol Pfister and husband Martin and Juanita Thurston; brother, John Edwards and wife Pam; nephew, Chandler Coffee; niece, Kiley Abernathy; great niece, Danae Abernathy; great nephew, Dalton Abernathy; daughter, Angela Marie and a granddaughter Nadia.
A visitation will be 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, April, 20, 2023 at Hutchinson Funeral Chapel, 300 E. 30th Ave, Hutchinson. Memorial Contributions are suggested to 4 Paws 4 Life Rescue and Boarding and be sent in care of the funeral home.
